If you are going to use SocioQuiz for your viral website, you will face “Whoops, looks like something went wrong” error while updating the script. This is known error for most of the user especially if you are using PHP version 7.1.
To solve this error, you don’t need to downgrade PHP version.
Here is the steps you need to modify on your server to solve this “Whoops, looks like something went wrong” error.
How to solve
Please find and remove the below line of code from the file “/application/app/Http/
To remove: $execTime = ($time – LARAVEL_START);
Enable PHP zip extensionΒ
With above two steps, you can avoid this Whoops error and you can successfully update the script.
If you are going to post or submit ticket to Socioquiz at CodeCanyon, it will take time to get respond from seller. Their response is really bad. So we have to solve by ourselves.

Another Issue:
Another issue you will face with SocioQuiz is when you share quiz link on Facebook, OG image will not show properly. Sometimes only link without image is shared. To avoid this you have to debug your URL at Facebook first.

After debugging the image, you can share on social media (Facebook) and your quiz image will be displayed successfully.

I’ve recently installed Socioquiz and updated it to version 2.0.5. The problem i’m facing right now is whenever i try any quiz related to my facebook profile, its fails to load result. ( Preparing the result keeps going on ). Any work-around for this problem please?

SocioQuiz for some reason wasnt working with php version 5.6 or 7.2. I tried it with php 7.0 and it worked π (Got this idea from one of your posts π )
I have changed my domain name and have bought one with .com extension. I’m planning to utilise viralfb script as I’ve no funds left. Hoping to get fbviral v3 from you as i need multi-friend functionality. π
Multi friend function is not easy today. Most of the script lost it’s function because of Facebook update. I even don’t have multi friend function with phpviralquiz and namtestapps.

i have to say a big THANKS!!!!! i found an answer to my problem, i was facing some problems installing this script on my server, and i found the solution here, i downgrade mi version to 7.0 on my php and it install it smoothly (altought i have to errase everythig including the database and do the process again), very very very tks for share your knowledge, what sites you own? so i can visit it and see what the sponsors have to offer me π
