How to solve ViralFB Script installation problem “Whoops, looks like something went wrong”

I was asked by some people about ViralFB Script installation issue.

Most of them faced with the problem of “Whoops, looks like something went wrong” error after uploading the script into hosting. I also faced this problem while installing my website.

You may not get support from ViralFB team as they no longer replied any response as far as I know. And also ViralFB script was removed from CodeCanyon, so you cannot reach out through them CodeCanyon support ticket. It is the big problem for most of the ViralFB script users.

So I am writing this post to help who are facing installing problem with ViralFB. I also faced these problems while installing, but luckily I got response from ViralFB team before they shut down their online sale.

Here is the steps we need to change on our sever.

1. Enable php fileinfo extension
2. Switch to php 5.6
3. allow_url_fopen from 0 to 1

After changing this, please try to reload your site. You will be able to proceed installing process without getting Whoops.

If you still have a problem, you may need to edit in your .htaccess file. If you need .htaccess file. comment under this post. I can share with the one I am currently using.
